Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2025
1. Introduction
ROW UI ("we", "our", "the studio") operates the website row-ui.lovable.app and the professional architectural services described on it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information from clients, prospective clients, collaborators and website visitors.
This page is maintained by ROW UI. It describes the practices and controls currently in place. It is not a certification or independent audit. If any statement here conflicts with a signed engagement letter or Data Processing Agreement between us, the signed document controls.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — for example when you submit an enquiry form, sign a letter of engagement, share project briefs, drawings, photographs or other project materials, or correspond with us by email or phone.
We also collect limited technical information automatically from website visits, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL and pages viewed. This is used to keep the website secure and to understand aggregate traffic patterns.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver and manage architectural services, coordinate with contractors and consultants, issue invoices, comply with legal obligations, and improve the security and usability of our website.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use client project information for marketing without written client consent.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal information on the basis of contract performance (delivering services you engage us for), legitimate interests (managing our business and protecting our website), consent (where you have provided it), and legal obligations (tax, corporate and regulatory record-keeping).
5. Sharing and disclosure
We share personal information only with parties who need it to deliver the services you have engaged us for — for example structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, permit authorities and specialist ateliers. These parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law, court order or regulatory request.
6. Client confidentiality
Client identity, project location and project details are protected under NDA-grade confidentiality by default. Access to client project data is restricted to studio members working directly on the project and to consultants under confidentiality agreements.
7. Data retention
We retain client project files, drawings and correspondence for the statutory professional record-keeping period applicable to architectural services in the relevant jurisdiction — typically ten years — after which records are securely archived or destroyed.
Enquiry data from prospective clients that does not lead to engagement is retained for up to 24 months and then deleted.
8. Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. This includes role-based access controls, encrypted data-in-transit, secure project data rooms, and vendor due-diligence for third parties handling client data.
9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at studio@rowui.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
10. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a minimal set of first-party cookies necessary for site operation and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
11. International transfers
ROW UI operates across multiple jurisdictions. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect it in accordance with applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent update is shown below. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
